UX/UI
Description
Leading the redesign of KI Europe’s website and migration to Optimizely (Episerver), transforming an outdated, clunky platform into a modern, mobile-optimised and interactive showcase for KI’s innovative furniture solutions.
Context
KI Europe has been creating happy, healthy, high-performing working and learning environments since 1941 but their old website wasn’t reflecting this legacy. Built on an outdated CMS, it suffered from slow load times, poor navigation and an uninspiring product presentation, making it hard for clients to explore KI’s range of durable, flexible furniture.
Process
Audit & Research – Analysed the existing site’s pain points, benchmarked competitors and studied KI’s target audiences to understand their needs.
UX & Content Strategy – Designed a cleaner navigation structure and content flow to make product discovery easy and engaging.
Visual Design – Created a modern, mobile-first interface reflecting KI’s sustainable ethos and engineering precision.
Technical Build – Migrated and updated legacy content into Optimizely, building responsive templates and interactive elements.
Interactive Features – Introduced product comparison tools, richer imagery and layouts that showcased KI’s key collections.
